CRITERIA FOR APPLICANTS

• Application forms are available for pick-up at the office of the Meaford & District

Chamber of Commerce or can be downloaded and printed from www.mdcc.ca.

NOTE THAT ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED AT THE CHAMBER OFFICE NO LATER THAN MONDAY OCTOBER 3, 2011

• All potential businesses are eligible based on the commitment that should they win, they will operate their business within the Municipality of Meaford. Submissions,

however, can come from anywhere and are not limited to Meaford residents.

• To qualify, the winner(s) MUST register their business(es) PRIOR to receiving thefunding.

• The winner(s) must collect their funding from the Chamber no later than June 30th, 2012.

• The competition is now open to expansions of existing businesses, so long as the expansion takes place within the Municipality of Meaford. Franchises are not eligible.

• Submissions must demonstrate how they relate to at least one of the following four pillars of the Meaford Economic Development Strategy:

  1. Retail

  2. Tourism

  3. Agribusiness

  4. Green
