The Original Fire Hall built in Meaford was constructed in 1887 at a cost of $2500.00. The bell tower was added in 1908 and still stands today. It is located on Nelson Street right behind the Meaford Hall.

The Fire Department has since built a new hall at 81 Stewart Street in Meaford.
